Designed a monolithic battery enclosure from scratch for UVM AERO club. This design promots lower roll moment of inertia, slight rear weight bias, and simplistic archetecture to provide a reliable well handling battery solution.

96s module architecture spilt across four internal banks
Front chamber for main fuse, internal contactors,segment discconects, and cell tap harness routing.
Vent Holes included for ejecta egress path in case of battery fire
Performed FEA to ensure that battery modules would not be crushed by deformed sheet metal in the case of a crash.
Wet Layup using 3d printed polucarbonate form sourced through BETA Technologies
Prepped core using orbital and hand sanding from 60-300 grit
3 stage mold release application
0/45/90 degree 3 Ply carbon construction
Used tape to create carbon trimming templates.
Post processed using rotary air tools, trimming nosecone to fit snuggly.
