13s5p 21700 based Li-ion battery pack.
The original 50 "dumb" BMS in this off the shelf battery pack failed unexpectedly which gave me the opportunity to install an 80a Bluetooth BMS
I calculated the maximum continuous dishcarge of the pack based on the cell data sheet (175a cont) and found a bms capable of about half that discharge current to leave a large margin of safety for the cells.
Simple 4s1p LiFePo4 battery for my brothers speaker
Typical External cell retainers wouldn't fit inside the speaker so I designed a tight tolerance internal cell retainer and spotwelded new 32700 cells to the original speaker bms.

Elite-Pi microcontoller using a custom qmk firmware build
Currently in use as a programmable macropad.
Controller previously used to power the buggy before upgrading
Triaging revealed that the powerboard is healthy, but the logic board 12v rail blew up which cascaded to the 5v and 3.3v rails
Ongoing project to find and replace all broken components to revive this controller.
Bypassed 12v circuit by injecting onto 3.3v and 5v rails with a benchtop supply which succesfully turned on esp32.
Currently slowly removing 12v components until dead short reveals itself as I do not have a schematic for the pcb.
Why not start every morning with a bang? Sepcifically the bang from an 16v electrolitic capacitor being charged backwards with > 50v
I am developing a belt fed capaticor alarm clock with my EE Friend Dustin using a stepper motor to pull a cut tape of capacitors, servo actuated power rails, and a real time clock module all connected to an esp32 on a custom circuit board
